The solution is to allow the static electricity to discharge before a person comes into contact with the helicopter or the lowered personnel touch the ground.
Therefore, when operating the winch, it is recommended to connect a cable of adequate length to the hoist hook to discharge static electricity.
Thanks to the safety fuse (40 to 60 kg) inserted between the connector and the cable, if the KONG cable gets caught on the ground or elsewhere, it automatically disconnects from the lifting hook.
